Remy Ma and Papoose stopped by “The Real” on Thursday and introduced their daughter Reminisce MacKenzie Mackie for the first time. She was born on Dec. 14, 2018.
The 2-month-old — whom they’ve been calling the “Golden Child” — wore a floral outfit with a matching purse, purple headband and golden shoes, which made everyone gush. Remy was then asked how the baby changed her and Papoose’s lives.
“She makes everything so peaceful,” Remy explained. “We don’t want to disagree on anything. Everything is just so calm. She really completed the whole circle.”
In December, after the baby arrived, the “Lean Back” rapper was rushed to the hospital for excessive bleeding and had to undergo surgery, which she also talked about.
“After you have the baby, you’re supposed to continue to contract so that your uterus shrinks back to pre-pregnancy size,” she told “The Real” hosts. “After I had her, my blood pressure was really high. I was still dilated three days later.”
Remy then said she received a total of three blood transfusions when she had surgery but was OK after just a few days.
After a preview of the episode hit the Internet, people left all kinds of comments about the “Golden Child.”
“Oh Lord😍 She’s a little chocolate drop❤ Such a beautiful baby👶,” someone wrote on Thursday.
“Perfect little Angel! Children are a beautiful blessing from God,” wrote someone else. “I’m so glad that RemyMa is doing well and the baby! Papooose is such a loving and caring Father.”
“I had to watch this episode multiple times the Golden Child is so😍😍😍 giving me baby fever,” a third person commented.
Remy posted a message about the baby’s first television appearance as well.
“We’re still on the west coast so I missed my baby tv debut (tune in to watch The Real on Fox network today),” she wrote on Thursday. “But waking up to her on my timeline put the biggest smile on my face; it’s so weird seeing her on social media. This baby is EVERYTHING me & her father, my husband @papoosepapoose prayed she would be and EVEN MORE!”
