Jada Pinkett Smith Urged by Fans to Give Jordyn Woods a Break in Upcoming Interview Amid Kardashian Drama

News of Jordyn Woods‘ upcoming appearance on Jada Pinkett Smith‘s “Red Table Talk” made headlines on Tuesday morning, and folks are pleading with the talk show host to take it easy on her.

Woods, who apparently had a rough last week after she was accused of hooking up with Khloe Kardashians now ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson, broke her social media silence yesterday with an Instagram Live video of herself walking to the set of Smith’s Facebook Watch series. The interview, in which people are presuming Woods addressed the scandal, will air on Friday, March 1.

The 21-year-old’s pre-recorded segment with Smith surprisingly hasn’t been leaked, but one source who claimed to have been “familiar with the conversation” told TMZ that Smith’s goal is to “create a healing between Jordyn and Khloé” and give Woods a platform to tell her side of the story. The 47-year-old, who’s extremely close to the former plus-size model’s family, isn’t interested in dragging the Kardashian-Jenner family nor exploiting Woods.

But fans seemed to be worried about the 21-year-old’s upcoming interview with Smith and are asking the “Different World” actress to be gentle with her.

“Jada I understand you are friends with Kris, [but] please be comfort and light for this baby,” one fan commented on Tuesday underneath Smith’s Instagram photo from Monday. “Please be a safe space for her to express how she’s really feeling. She trusts you.”

Another user wrote on the talk show host’s social media, “Thank you for giving this young lady @jordynwoods a platform to tell her side of the story….. one mistake should not alter her life this way.. Be gentle with her ❤️.”

On Feb. 19, news broke that Khloe Kardashian split with Cleveland Cavaliers star Thompson after he allegedly hooked up with Woods, Kylie Jenner‘s best friend, at a house party he threw on Feb. 17. Some reports had Woods as completely drunk and blacked out during the alleged encounter with Thompson.

Since the scandal, the Kardashians have been liking derogatory tweets about Woods and are “upset” that she’ll be appearing on Smith’s “Red Table Talk.”

“[They] feel like she should be focusing more on healing her relationship privately with the family or Kylie then talking about it publicly,” an anonymous source told Entertainment Tonight on Feb. 26. “The Kardashian-Jenners have been nothing but incredible to Jordyn and hope she’ll be respectful. They just wish her way of dealing with it was done in a different way.”

The 21-year-old reportedly signed a “ironclad NDA” with the Kardashian family years ago to prevent her “from speaking about Kris, Kim, Kourtney, Khloé and Kylie publicly or revealing any private details about the inner workings of the family.”

If Woods has signed a nondisclosure agreement, saying the wrong thing in the interview could get her into legal trouble.
