Kenya Moore made some time to spend with her family Sunday and shared an intimate moment with her husband and daughter that fans couldn’t help but gush over.
The former cast member on Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” hopped on Instagram Live Feb. 24 to catch husband Marc Daly snapping some photos with their daughter Brooklyn Doris Daly as he cuddled her. But the cutest moment came when Daly, a New York City-based restaurateur, held his youngest child close and began slow dancing with her.
“Daddy-daughter dance!” mom exclaimed in the video as Daly continued to dance with Brooklyn with Beyoncé’s “Daddy” played in the recreation center.
The moment moved Moore to tears, which her husband of two years caught with a kiss, and fans couldn’t help but share their delight.
“This is so lovely! Brooklyn knows she’ll always have daddy’s strong shoulders to rest her head. Love this family! ❤”
“That kiss was so sweet 😭😭😭. I think my heart and my uterus exploded at the same time 🤗🤗😭😭😂😂. I am so happy for her.”
“I was in tears of joy too. God is good. 🙏❤ blessings all the way to #KenyaMoore #MarcDaley #BrooklynDorisDaley.”
“She’s such a blessing and beautiful baby. I’m so happy for u and Marc may God Bless the three of u.”
“Kenya you look better today with your family than ever! Happy for you❤️❤️”
Being able to have such moments is something Moore has long wanted. She struggled for years to find a man to settle down and start a family with, but that all changed when she was set up with Daly through their mutual friend Chef Roblé. Mere months later, the pair flew to St. Lucia to elope, and they’ve been going strong for the last year and a half.
That winter, Moore flew to a clinic in Barbados and soon became pregnant using in vitro fertilization, a journey she shared with People magazine.
“To be quite honest, the thing that hurt the most was them sticking me with the IV when they had to extract the eggs because my veins are so tiny. But that’s the only thing that was uncomfortable. The rest of it wasn’t painful,” she said of the beginning process, later admitting she is afraid of needles and having blood drawn.
But by April, Moore was pregnant with her self-described miracle baby and managed to carry her almost to full term without incident. However, pregnancy complications led the reality star to give birth weeks earlier, and Brooklyn arrived on Nov. 4 to her overjoyed parents.
