Phaedra Parks Jumps Into Nene Leakes’ Comments Section When She Puts Moochers on Blast

Nene Leakes latest pink message isn’t lending advice, rather, it’s asking for some help deciphering something on her behalf. And the reality star’s former “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” cast mate Phaedra Parks is giving her two cents on the matter.

On Monday, Feb. 18, Leakes uploaded a flyer wondering about what to call it when moochers decide to go out with her for dinner and drinks.

“What’s it called when we have girl’s night out and everybody eating/drinking but I’m the only one paying 🤔” the post read.

“Um Guys too! If your going out wit me, please don’t assume i will be paying! Speak on it,” the O.G. ‘wife added.

“I’m over it too,” Leakes said in the comments.

Parks chimed in sympathetically to share how disappointed she was that her friend’s feelings were hurt and wrote, “oh no sis😢 they just know you rich bih.”

Meanwhile, fans had different thoughts and opinions on the matter. They also shared their terms for that exact situation.

“It’s called NeNe night on NeNe thanks girlll 😉😉”

“Mooching.”

“Sounds like they thought it was a charity event”

“Hell no, everyone pays for their own drinks. If I invite my friend to go out, I will tell him/her it’s on me.”

“Being used nene leaks, once you don’t pay they will all stop coming. If you invite them on me then you got to pay.”

While Leakes may not be too happy with how her wealth has made friends freeload off her now, several years ago the star was eager to brag about her riches.

On season 4 of “RHOA,” Leakes denied claims from Shereé Whitfield that she took money from her pocket. After Whitfield dialed her promoter and Leakes called her ex-assistant to sort things out, the two cast members simply ended up in a screaming match. It culminated in Leakes delivering one of her most famous phrases, “I was running to the bank, sweetie, and depositing a Trump check! … I am very rich, b—-!”

Leakes also touted her riches while defending Ebony magazine’s decision to put her on the cover of its December/January 2013 money and power issue, where she lay in a tub full of diamonds.

“I absolutely deserve to be on the cover,” she told The Daily Beast in November 2012. “This cover is about money, power, and respect. And it’s about a come-up story and I’m the one that had that story this year. … Not only did I come out as a reality star that was very boisterous and vivacious and outspoken and all those things. I flipped that into money and respect. And a lot of people can’t do that.”
