After Tamar Braxton was crowned the winner of “Celebrity Big Brother” last week, many applauded the star, but Lindsay Lohan was not one of them. And she got a succinct response from Toni Braxton as a result.
Instead, Lohan took aim at Tamar and claimed she is not kind to fellow women. The former child star’s mother, Dina Lohan, was competing on season 2 of the CBS show with Tamar. During the Feb. 13 finale, Tamar initially said she’d send pal Kandi Burruss packing. However, she wound up giving Dina the boot instead. Lindsay didn’t take kindly to that.
“Congrats. God bless you,” the star of MTV’s “Lindsay Lohan’s Beach Club’ began in her Feb. 14 tweet to Tamar. “But you are not any friend of women. You’re deceptive and conniving and so is this #RR MONEY IS MORE TO YOU than being a strong woman #sadness bless you #HappyValentinesDay #KarmaSuperHit.”
“Lindsay…stay out of it…” Tamar’s big sister Toni replied.
Lindsay didn’t respond to Toni’s tweet, but the “Unbreak My Heart” singer got tons of support from other Twitter users.
“Period! Tell her Toni.”
“Yasss @tonibraxton! Big Sis coming through.. She’s getting happy go lucky and clearly has no manners #cbbus2.”
“THATS WHAT US OLDER SIBLINGS DO!!! Side Note….. Toni don’t usually jump in 😳….. That was a warning shot 💥🔫….. 😱😱😱😱”
A couple days later, Lindsay was forced to address additional remarks she allegedly made on her Instagram page.
“Finally #family @alianalohan #free @cbs_bigbrother you suck and get no Valentine’s from @lohanbeachclub @mtv,” the post is said to have read, according to Hot New Hip Hop. “My mother is an AMAZING woman and she did so well…The secrets she told me a few hours ago are going to #EXPOSE #YOUALL #dinalohan #dfwm.”
The comment has since been removed from her Instagram page and Lindsay blamed it on getting hacked by a former employee.
“I have been made aware that further comments were added to my last Instagram post as to appear that I wrote them,” Lindsay stated Feb. 16. “Firstly, I can guarantee these comments were not made from me. Sadly from investigation, I have learned that a past member of my team who had access to my account made these changes. This matter has now been dealt with internally.
“I want to personally thank CBS and Big Brother for giving my Mother this incredible opportunity and also to say how proud I am of my Mom for what she has achieved. Also MTV and Viacom for their wonderful support. Lastly, I want to thank those who made me aware of what was happening on my social media channels. Thank you. Lindsay x.”
