Last week Future opened up about his ex Ciara and her football-playing hubby Russell Wilson during an interview, and he admitted to being annoyed that Wilson posted photos of his son without talking to him first. The rapper also said Ciara controls the NFL star, and he does whatever she says.
Future really heard it from the singer’s fans after that, and some accused him of being jealous of Ci-Ci’s union. Now fans have pointed to a particular clip that Ciara posted on Tuesday, Jan. 22, that shows her and Wilson moonwalking to Cardi B‘s “Bartier Cardi.” The theory is the dancing represents Ciara and Russ’ fun, happy life, which has Future hot.
The superstar couple recorded the brief video on an airport runway as they were about to board a private plane to the NFL Pro Bowl in Orlando, Fla.
“Moonwalking with Bae. The best times. #ProBowl Here We Come. @dangerusswilson,” wrote Ciara.
The comments about Future being upset by the clip came immediately after it was shared.
“This is why Future mad,” one person wrote.
And one person felt the video was the couple’s way of responding to the rapper’s dig at them last week, and she applauded them for not retaliating in any way.
“This is how you respond to a bitter [ex]. No response, just living your best life. Continued prayers and happiness,” someone wrote.
In the wake of the flap over his criticism of Wilson, the “Hndrxx” rapper addressed it again on Wednesday, Jan. 23, on his Freebandz Radio program.
“We don’t have no problems,” Future said. “It’s a social media problem. No, I don’t hate him. Totally not the deal. It was just the way we were carrying it, as far as being handled with baby Future. I don’t have nothing against [Wilson], and I’m happy for them.”
