Steve Harvey may not be a fan of ice skating but he’s all for rolling — or walking — around a roller rink in his backyard.
Marjorie Harvey, the comedian’s wife, hosted a family skate night at their home Friday. While their Harveys suited up in roller skates and did a few laps around the rink, the radio host decided he’d stick to sneakers and walk around it instead.
By Sunday, Jan. 20, Marjorie uploaded a video of her husband all alone and walking about the rink acting as if he was skating.
“Skating my ass off,” Steve appears to say when his wife asks if he’s skating.
“In my mind!” he adds when Marjorie points out he’s missing actual skates.
Fans who caught the clip found it hilarious.

Marjorie previously called out her hubby’s roller rink footwear in a photoset of the family enjoying last week’s skate night.
“Skate trains 😍Where are Steve’s skates? 😂🤣 Talking about he has to work on Tuesday…… and it’s Friday night. 😂🤦🏽♀️,” Marjorie captioned a post.
Harvey’s excuse for roller skating matches the same one he told Ellen DeGeneres about his wife’s plans to outfit their backyard with an ice skating rink for the holidays.
“I had to talk her down a little bit because Marjorie has a rational problem,” Harvey said on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” in December. “I tried to get her to understand that we’re not Staples Center. You can’t bring all this stuff in here. For Christmas, she wants a little ice skating rink for the kids. And she says everybody gon’ ice skate. I can’t ice skate, I gotta go to work tomorrow.”
But Marjorie still had her grandkids doing laps on ice skates by Christmas Eve, whether or not the talk show host joined them.
