Kenya Moore has been teasing fans with her post-baby body, and on her 48th birthday, she finally debuted her full bikini-clad figure Thursday.
“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star simply captioned the Jan. 24 Instagram post “#48” as she posed in a white two-piece, similar to this, and held baby girl Brooklyn in her arms.
Fans went wild for the star’s look.
“Twirl girl💋gone with the wind fabulous 🔥 #womenover40whoslay 🔥🔥”
“YES MA’AM ! ❤️🔥 motherhood looks so great on you 🥰😘”
“48 where… you and the baby look good😍”
“Damnnn body snatched back.”
Noticeably, Moore has no scars in sight despite her harrowing emergency cesarean section in November.
“They couldn’t get the baby out,” she told People magazine that same month. “There were all these complications and they knew if they cut into a fibroid, I could potentially bleed out and die. So they ended up cutting me vertically too, to just get the baby out and make sure I survived the surgery. They were so scared they were going to lose me.”
But the resilient Moore managed to pull through and thrive. In the past few months, the new mom had been getting into shape so she could have the perfect body in time for her birthday. During a stop on “The Dr. Oz Show,” she credited being a “workout person” before her pregnancy and continuing to consume lots of fruit to explain how she was able to get back down to size so quickly.
Moore was also forced to address speculation that despite sharing her workout regimen and fitness plan, her snap-back was aided by plastic surgery.
“I had a c-section, so I couldn’t really stand up, I obviously couldn’t work out or do anything like that,” she explained to Dr. Oz, noting she dropped 40 pounds of water weight in one week after giving birth. “I was a workout person before. I took care of my body and I … just snapped back after, like, two weeks.”
Even before the daytime TV show appearance, Moore shut down speculation that she had a tummy tuck immediately following her three-hour procedure.
“They are just out of shape and likely overweight… people doubt when they can’t achieve themselves,” she commented on Instagram in November. “But it’s better to ask what did you do so I can do it too rather than to accuse someone of surgery 3 weeks after birth SMDH.”
