While Kandi Burruss is working to take home the $250,000 grand prize on “Celebrity Big Brother,” her daughter Riley Burruss is giving her boss mama a run for her money.
On Sunday, Jan. 27, the 16-year-old will host an NFL Juniors concert given by social media star-turned-singer Jacob Sartorius.
Fans can catch Riley’s gig by stopping by the Georgia World Congress Center Hall B this weekend. Burruss’ Instagram post described it as a “proud mom moment.”
“All fans are welcome, but space is limited! The first 100 fans that purchase the Super Bowl LIII Concert T-shirt will receive VIP access and a meet and greet with @rileyburruss and @Jacobsartorius! #NFLfanSTYLE Shirt go on sale Saturday 1/26 at 10AM in the NFL Shop at Super Bowl located in the main lobby of Hall B by the Super Bowl Experience Ticket Booth (tag @NFLFanStyle) #NFLJuniors 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾,” the Jan. 23 post read.
This is the latest moment of Riley stepping out on her own. She first began her journey after dropping more than 50 pounds last year and getting serious about her fitness.
“I’m so proud of my baby @rileyburruss! Last year (around September I think) Riley decided to get serious about being fit. With the help of her trainer @iamthekingoffitness she’s lost 52lbs!!!! & she did it the right way by working out 5 days a week & watching her calorie intake,” Mama Burruss gushed in 2018.
After that, Riley enrolled in a summer program with Stanford Law School’s Envision Intensive Law & Trial, which provides high school students a chance to get a peek inside the law profession.
“I’m so proud of my baby @rileyburruss! She’s headed to the 11th grade but this summer she is at #Stanford for the #EnvisionLawAndTrial program,” the singer wrote of her daughter back in July. “I was worried about her being by herself but she’s doing pretty good! My #futurelawyer! She’s stepping out of her shell lately.”
And it wasn’t just physical and educational transformations. Riley rang in her 16th birthday in style by getting her dream luxury car and posing in a stunning photo shoot that showed she was truly all grown up.
