50 Cent has an opinion on why celebrity attorney Lisa Bloom represented Teairra Mari in a revenge porn lawsuit: She was upset about his opinion on the Trey Songz domestic violence case.
In March of 2018, a woman named Andrea Buera claimed Songz punched her repeatedly at NBA All-Star Weekend one month earlier. Buera said the singer assaulted her because she was talking to another man at the time.
Songz eventually turned himself into the Hollywood police and posted $50,000 bail. All the criminal charges were later dropped, and Buera sued the R&B star.
In the same month that Songz was accused, 50 commented on Instagram and said he believed that Buera just wanted money.
“This stripper joint Andrea got Lisa Bloom talking ’bout Trey hit her,” wrote 50 back then. “Everybody know he ain’t hit her. This a money play. SMH. Anything to get the bag. #thesehoescrazy.”
And according to the rapper’s most recent post about Bloom, she didn’t care for that opinion about the Songz case, and that made Bloom represent Teairra Mari in the revenge porn suit. As reported, Mari sued 50 after he re-posted a photo of her with supposed ejaculate on her face that she said was uploaded by Akbar Abdul-Ahad, an ex-boyfriend.
In the end, the “In Da Club” creator won that case, and the judge ordered Mari to pay him over $30,000 in legal fees.
“Lisa Bloom got mad, because I said something about Trey Songz case,” wrote 50 on Monday, Jan. 14. “Then came this Teairra bullsh–. When she saw I don’t give a f— she dropped the case and ran. Lol.”
Bloom hasn’t commented on the rapper’s post, nor has Mari or Songz.
