Fans of former “Growing Up Hip Hop: Atlanta” star Reginae Carter couldn’t believe the striking resemblance between her and her mother Toya Wright.
Carter shared a photo of herself sporting a natural no-makeup look. In the image, she sported an camouflage short jumpsuit and posed for the “Gram” while sticking out her rear end.
“Bad bihh , poke it out 👏🏾,” the 20-year-old wrote in her Instagram photo’s caption.
Several fans underneath Carter’s comments almost mistook her for her mother Wright.
“Wow you look just like your mommy in this pic 😍.”
“Am I the only one who thought she was Toya? Natural beauty The fresh face😍♥️.”
“Boy I thought this was Toya.”
“No way YOU look just like Toya! So much prettier without makeup u r so pretty.
Carter, who’s the daughter of rapper Lil Wayne, said she shares a tight-knit bond with both her father and mother. She and Wright recently starred on T.I. and Tiny Harris’ reality show “T.I. & Tiny: Friends and Family Hustle” for the VH1 series’ first season.
Carter also landed her first major film role in a Lifetime channel movie “Pride And Prejudice: Atlanta.” The film is based on the Jane Austen 19th century novel about an English father in a quagmire because his daughters are unable to inherit his property. Therefore, the patriarch and his wife try to find a wealthy man who will take care of their family. Carter will be portraying one of the daughters.
The film, which re-imagines the novel’s setting and characters with a majority-Black cast, was directed by Rhonda Baraka and features a cast that includes Jackée Harry, Reginald VelJohnson, Tiffany Hines, and Keisha Knight Pulliam.
