Tami Roman Begins Year on a Positive Note After Months of Personal Turmoil

Tami Roman is feeling the love of her fans and she’s expressing her appreciation as a result.

The “Basketball Wives” star on Friday reposted a meme from actress Kyla Pratt that read, “I love how people I’ve never met root for me.”

“This spoke to my soul! Y’all really keep me uplifted and I want to thank you!!! It feels good to come on here & experience the well wishes, positive comments and loving energy. I salute every single one of you that isn’t afraid to empower and love others. Be blessed 💋💋💋💋” the reality star added in the caption.

Roman has certainly gotten tons of support for her career moves as of late.

Before the end of the year came around, Roman debuted her rap alter ego, Tatiana Trill. Many fans praised her for the way she’s leveled up.

“@tamiroman @somayareece I love you too! ❤️You were at one point The Under Dogs on your show. Now the Glo Up is Real! Fym 😂”

“Live your best life hunty!”

“😍 Here for it! 🙋🏾‍♀️ ALLLL OF IT.”

Such bolstering from her followers is a welcome change after the negativity she faced for most of last year during her appearance on the latest season of “Basketball Wives.” The reality star was accused of “looking like a crackhead” by cast mate Evelyn Lozada, with whom she was sparring over a rumor about the latter sleeping with Shaunie O’Neal’s ex.

Roman wound up explaining her drastic weight loss on Instagram over the summer and said it was due to her managing her diabetes.

“I didn’t lose weight, I lost my willingness to die. DIABETES IS NO JOKE,” she wrote in June. “I detox, suppress my appetite and make better food choices. So enjoy yourself laughing, leaving negative comments & calling me a ‘crackhead’…but I have two beautiful daughters and I’m gon’ live for them by ANY means necessary. 💯”

But it wasn’t just Lozada who criticized her weight. Although they were concerned, fans continuously pointed out how thin Roman’s appearance is.

“Tami Roman face gettin’ too skinny for me.”

“Ummmm… I don’t follow regularly and I’m not on IG a lot but when this picture came up I was shocked. She looks emaciated. I understand the health issue but I have questions?!?”

By the final quarter of 2018, however, Roman had taken control of the content on her Instagram account by sharing strictly positive memes and personal news. She’s also limited her comments on each of her posts.

Among them were plenty of memes about not limiting yourself and doing dope s— along with inspirational messages about being “a good person” in 2019 and avoiding gossip.
