50 Cent Can’t Let Up on Mayweather, Posts Old Footage of Boxer Struggling To Read

50 Cent delivered another shot to Floyd Mayweather and poked fun at his seeming literacy problem again.

As he did before, the New York rapper shared old footage of Mayweather struggling to get through a promotional ad on “The Breakfast Club.” Floyd was supposed to read a short message for iHeartRadio at the time, but he struggled to get past the first couple of lines.

50 re-posted the footage Wednesday after he learned that MSNBC News recently beat out Fox News in the cable news weekly ratings category for the first time in 17 years. It’s not clear what the recording of Mayweather has to do with the ratings news, but 50 shared it anyway.

Then in another post, the “21 Questions” creator said the only reason MSNBC is beating Fox is because of host Ari Melber, who often cites rap lyrics to make his points and has seemed to develop a friendship with 50.

“You know why? ‘Cause he speaks English,” he said about Melber. “I don’t even know what the f— they talking about when Ari ain’t on there. Dead ass.”

In regards to the Mayweather diss, the boxer hasn’t responded yet, because he’s been posting messages about his recent first-round victory over Japanese kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa and how he made “$9,000,000,000 for nine minutes.”

You can listen to the old audio of Mayweather doing the promo ad above and watch 50 talk about MSNBC below. Melber has already responded to Fif as well and thanked him for the kind words.

You like how I break it down,” wrote Melber. “Thank you @50cent for the very kind shou out. We like your style.”
