Moore welcomed Brooklyn Doris, who is named after the former reality stars’ late grandmother, into the world on Nov. 4. But delivering her “miracle baby” was not easy.
The first-time mother was forced to undergo an emergency cesarianĀ section. And the procedure that can usually take up to 45 minutes to perform was complicated by large fibroids that were in the way. It wound up lasting three hours.
āThey couldnāt get the baby out,ā she told People magazine of the harrowing ordeal. āThere were all these complications and they knew if they cut into a fibroid, I could potentially bleed out and die. So they ended up cutting me vertically too, to just get the baby out and make sure I survived the surgery. They were so scared they were going to lose me.ā
Regardless, the 47-year-old has no regrets and said becoming a mother to BrooklynĀ has been a blessing.
āI finally have everything Iāve dreamed of. Sheās so perfect in so many ways,” she said. “This little angel ā¦ so beautiful. I feel so blessed. Itās all been so worth it.ā
