Singer K. Michelle recently announced on social media that her surrogate was approved to have her twins.
The “Love and Hip Hop: Hollywood” star revealed to fans in September 2017 that she’d been struggling with fertility issues following her lupus diagnosis. The doctor told K. Michelle that she wouldn’t be able to carry her twins full-term.
The singer later disclosed that she and her long-time boyfriend Doctor Kastan Sims went through a long process of finding a surrogate and found the perfect person to carry her children.
“2day we got a call that THEY REALLY FOUND THE PERFECT SURROGATE for us,” K. Michelle tweeted on Sept. 14, 2017. “My hands were shaking.”
Well it appears the “Love and Hip Hop” reality star has moved forward with the process of expanding her family.
“My Surrogate has been approved!” she wrote on her Instagram Story December 19. “They say she’s really kind and a perfect match for my babies. I thank God for her.”
K. Michelle added, “She knows who she is, she honestly is a blessing, my guardian angel. God knew.”
K. Michelle’s surrogate approval comes months after her initial statement in August saying that the doctor gave her the green light to carry “the babies” herself without the help of a proxy. However, it appears that plan is no longer the case.
Nevertheless, folks congratulated the star on her journey to having more children.
