While Bravo executive Andy Cohen was out and about in New York City over the weekend, he got a surprising message from local law enforcement about “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.”
Cohen, who is an executive producer of the long-running reality show, captured the moment cops requested Kenya Moore and Phaedra Parks’ return on his Instagram Story Saturday, Dec. 8.
“You had an initial message, you called me over. What did you want me to know?” Cohen asked two female officers who are fans of the ATL ‘wives.
“Bring Phae Phae back,” the officer in the passenger seat says.
“I want Kenya back,” the officer in the driver’s seat responds.
“Everybody knows, everybody knows,” the cop sitting passenger side says, humorously quoting Parks.
“Everybody knows,” Cohen says. “Stay tuned.”
The officers’ asks are not uncommon. Fans regularly flood RHOA fan Instagram pages begging for Moore and Parks to rejoin the cast.
And at least one of the police officers is going to get her wish.
Kandi Burruss has stated that she was able to convince her pal and new mom Moore to show up to an event for Cynthia Bailey, which is likely going to be seen later this season. Moore had elected not to return to RHOA for season 10 blaming on-screen drama.
She said in a statement issued in October that she “decided to take this season off to focus on my high-risk pregnancy in a healthy and drama free environment. I thank Bravo for this amazing platform that has allowed me to grow, flourish and appreciate the value of what is truly important in life.”
Parks was unceremoniously handed a pink slip after season 8 when she spread a rumor that Burruss wanted to rape and drug Porsha Williams in the singer’s alleged sex dungeon. While Moore has flirted with the idea of coming back to RHOA full time, Parks has made it clear the door is closed on that area of her life.
“You know, I have closed that chapter, and I’ve moved on to new things,” the Atlanta attorney told Us Weekly in August addressing her inclusion on “Braxton Family Values.”
“I’m now with WE tv and I’m very happy and very excited about the opportunities that they’ve presented to me. So, you know, that’s a done deal at the moment. I never say never, but you know, I’ve moved on to greener pastures.”
