Eva Marcille Puzzled After Being Called Out By Cynthia Bailey and Being Labeled the ‘Biggest Liar’ by Marlo Hampton

Eva Marcille became the target of scrutiny during a game of pass the peach on Sunday’s “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” and she’s hitting back at accusations of her being a liar.

The model was deemed the biggest liar of the group by friend of the show Marlo Hampton during the Nov. 25 broadcast and then, the rest of the ‘wives piled up on her for throwing shade at Shamea Morton.

In her Bravo blog following the episode, Marcille addressed the dustup at Cynthia Bailey’s barbecue. Regarding Hampton, whom Marcille has repeatedly deemed “extra,” she’s learning not to be thrown by her remarks.

“I’m learning to not be surprised by what Marlo says… But, I must say, I was definitely caught off guard,” she said Monday, Nov. 26. “To call someone a liar is a big accusation, and I’m still waiting to understand her reasoning. It was random and unnecessary.”

Cynthia Bailey also called her to the carpet. Bailey said she was told Marcille was spreading a rumor that she paid Will, Bailey’s former boyfriend, to date her for the show. While Marcille denied saying that, it didn’t stop the wives from going in on her.

This isn’t the first time Marcille found herself in some hot water. Last episode fans trashed the model when she said of newcomer Shamari DeVoe, “Blaque is cute. She’s Black, she’s snatched, she’s married. Shamea’s Black, too. She ain’t Blaque with a ‘q.’”

The “America’s Next Top Model” winner addressed that controversy specifically on Instagram but as for Kandi Burruss and Porsha Williams getting onto her about other Shamea shade, Marcille wanted no more of it.

“At the point Kandi and Porsha called me out about Shamea, I was over it,” she said. “I thought this was supposed to be a Bailey Que, not an Eva Que…why is everyone so hard pressed to come for me? And what did they expect — was I supposed to be shady and mean to a pregnant woman? I had no clue she was pregnant, but once I realized she was, I definitely had no plans to start an argument. Damned if I do, damned if I don’t.”
