“Love and Hip Hop: Miami” is set to add two new cast members as the franchise as a whole continues to go through changes.
One of those new additions is TV host Jessie Woo. She confirmed the news on Twitter Monday, Nov. 19 by initially simply tweeting, “#LHHMIA.” About an hour later she followed up with, “Y’all ready to see Mama Woo on #LHHMIA? 😭😭😭🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹.”
Fans immediately praised the on-air BET talent for her gig, on which she’ll be joined by underground rapper Khaotic, which VH1 confirmed on Monday.
“Thank God I can look forward to AT LEAST ONE consistently laid wig! Congratulations Seester!! 🇭🇹”
“My good sis is about to be on some ‘Hey ya’ll, it’s ya girl – Jessie Woo’ 😭…. SO SO proud of what you’re about to do!! TO THE TOP!! ✊🏾🇭🇹❤️”
“I should have put two and two together when i saw you with gitory 😂 congratulations girl! 🖤”
“Haven’t watched episode of this franchise but I will now! #seester.”
“CONGRATULATIONS: My seester Jessie Woo will be on Love & Hip Hop: Miami. That’s so amazing because last season it was boring and I ONLY watched for Trina, that’s no shade! You better slay Jessie! #LHHMIA @TheJessieWoo @LoveAndHipHop @MonaScottYoung.”
“Shooting with @TRINArockstarr was a dream. She really doesn’t get her flowers. I’m so honored to share space with an ICON ❤️” Woo replied.
Woo and Khaotic will be joined by returning cast members, including Amara La Negra, Trick Daddy, Trina, Gunplay, Young Hollywood and Pleasure P to name a few.
This is the newest change for the LHH franchise, which saw “Love and Hip Hop Hollywood” part ways with long-time production company Eastern TV in an effort to move into a new direction that’s more along the lines of the “Housewives” franchise on Bravo.
That means it’ll zero in on couples and not stand-alone stars.
LHHMIA returns to VH1 on Wednesday, January 2, 2019.
