It’s been reported that Kim Porter, Sean “Diddy” Combs ex-girlfriend and mother of his children has passed away at the age of 47.
TMZ reports that she was found dead at her home in the Los Angeles area of Toluca Lake at about 12:00 p.m. on Thursday (Nov. 15).
An insider revealed that Kim was battling pneumonia for the past several weeks but that hasn’t been named as the cause of death. Emergency dispatch said they received a call about someone having a cardiac arrest.
Kim and Diddy have a son together Christian Combs, as well as two twin girls D’Lila and Jessie James. Diddy has also been a close stepfather to Kim’s son with Al B. Sure Quincy.
After hearing the news, fans quickly took to Kim’s Instagram page and left their condolences.
“Rest in heaven,” one person wrote.
“Terrible news,” wrote another. “My condolences to the family. So young. Gone too soon.”
Fans also left a number of comments on Diddy’s page.
“Prayers up for you and the family,” someone wrote. “Especially the girls, Quincy and Christian.”
“My God,” another person commented. “Praying for you and Kim’s family right now. So heartbreaking. Sending my deepest condolences.”
“Prayers for you and the kids,” a third person wrote. “Kim was a beautiful spirit, and she lit up the studio every time she walked in.”
At this time, the only statement released was by Diddy’ rep Cindi Berger who asked to give the grieving families space.
“Sadly, I can confirm the passing of Kim Porter,” she wrote. “I ask that you give the families privacy at this time.”
