If fans of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” ever thought there was hope for Kandi Burruss to bury the hatchet with former peach holder Phaedra Parks, the singer has effectively dashed those dreams.
Burruss made the revelation during an appearance on Bravo’s “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” Sunday, Nov. 11. On the late night talk show, she answered a fan’s question about whether or not she can get to a better place with Parks the way she did with Porsha Williams.
“Nah,” Burruss says after beginning to laugh. “Absolutely not. … That was too far, that was too much. I’ve never heard anything. No apologies, no nothing. And I’m cool with that. We don’t have to ever talk again and I’m good. Let’s move forward.”
Burruss was caught in a potentially reputation-damaging rumor that Parks was responsible for spreading on RHOA season 9. She claimed that Burruss wanted to drug and rape Williams in her supposed sex dungeon with the singer’s husband, Todd Tucker.
The Grammy winner managed to get past her issues with Williams in the matter, telling E!’s “Daily Pop” in July, “I really was tired of all the drama from the past seasons and I feel like she was tired of it too. I feel like we both really wanna move forward … In this situation, I honestly felt like, OK, we are genuinely having a good time. We should be able to be cool.”
During that same interview, however, she made her disinterest in extending an olive branch to Parks clear.
“Stop. Stop,” she said, shutting down the inquiry about her relationship with the Atlanta-based attorney.
Presently, viewers have been chatting it up about Burruss’ firm disdain for Parks.
“Girl let it go!! It’s been said by many different people, she was told that by production as well! So tired of Kandi.”
