Steve Harvey has been giving out the “Blue Cheese Awards” on his Instagram for “people that be dressing.” The new award comes after a fan called him and gave him the name because of how good he dresses. So for the last two weeks, Harvey has been selecting a best dressed winner. However, his fans are a little bothered he has only given out these awards to rich celebrities.
On Friday, Harvey shared a video to his Instagram naming Michael B. Jordan this weeks winner. In his caption he wrote, “This week’s #BlueCheeseAward goes to the unstoppable @michaelbjordan. This cat is so FRESH and so CLEAN. He’s what Outkast was talking about! 🏆 Who do ya’ll think is DRESSING out there? Let me know in the comments!”
Many of the comedian’s social media followers reacted in disappointment that he has yet to include everyday people in the awards.
“Steve we know rich folks dress. I thought you were helping middle class. That would be a good motivation for everyone to dress better.”
“I thought you would like to choose from regular people to award them”
“Plz do you have to be famous to win the awards”
“love seeing you promote dressing for success! Do you ever award non celebrities with this honor? I could image this would make someone’s whole world! Receiving that recognition from such a entity in the community. Love what you do Steve”
Harvey responded to fans saying, “absolutely, The Blue Cheese Award will feature celebs and non-celebs alike. Stay tuned.”
Although Harvey’s fans are a little bothered with him now, he usually has them rolling. Last week, Harvey shared a photo on Instagram that had folks in stitches when he photoshopped his face over Idris Elba’s to claim for himself People Magazine’s “Sexiest Man Alive” title.
One fan commented saying, “They don’t know, Steve! Tell them 😂🔥”
