While many women felt Idris Elba was overdue to be crowned People magazine’s “Sexiest Man Alive,” perhaps no one was as overjoyed as his fiancée.
Sabrina Dhowre plastered her British beau’s cover on her Instagram page on Tuesday, Nov. 6, soaking up his designation.

It should be noted that even though Dhowre referred to the “Luther” star as her “hubby,” she is not yet married to the stud.
However, Dhowre isn’t alone in praising her man for his cover and she’s certainly not alone in making it clear that most have already known Elba is deserving of being crowned the sexiest fella.
Many Twitter users applauded the title but also slammed People magazine for taking so long to give the honor to Elba.

As fine as the public thinks Elba is, it’s Dhowre who gets to be his bride. The pair got engaged in February at the London screening of Elba’s directorial debut film “Yardie.”
While speaking to People magazine about the move, Elba shared how he decided to pop the question.
“It was a little spontaneous, if I’m honest,” he admitted, noting he initially planned to do it on Valentine’s Day but thought that would be “problematic.” “I was at a cast and crew screening and among people I loved. We had all worked so hard for this project, so I was like I’m doing it right now, here, today.”
