Reginae Carter and her rapper boyfriend YFN Lucci seem to always be in the center of controversy, but this time the teenager had some words for her haters. On Thursday, Carter shared a meme to Instagram announcing she will be celebrating her birthday during the entire month of November. In the caption she wrote, “It’s my birthday month 🤗 We turning up all month 😏🤷🏾♀️ #Naetakes20 #youngandgettingit #issalottaoldheadsmad #butwegoneholdthatdown.”
One fan came at Carter about her age and wanting the reality star to be older. “Can she hurry up and take 21 a legal age!! all f*cking ready! 🙄”
Carter replied to the fan, “why you tryna grow me up! I’m good with 20 poohhh”
Another commenter explained their reasoning of wanting Carter to be older. “So you can be with Lucci without him looking like a creep.”
The 19-year-old quickly shut down all of the haters with, “lol yall love bringing up somebody else man. Where yours?”
Carter’s response notwithstanding, her and Lucci’s age difference has been a issue for many. Even her mother Toya Wright shared her concerns about the relationship. In the premiere of their show “T.I. & Tiny: Family & Friends Hustle,” Wright told her daughter her honest opinion of her relationship with the 27-year-old. ““I don’t like the age difference. I don’t like the fact that he have four kids because I mean you trying to be stepmom, honey?”
