Toni Braxton Sings Beyoncé’s Praises After She Rocks Halloween Costume In Her Likeness

Beyoncé never comes to play when it’s time for her to rock a Halloween costume and the superstar didn’t disappoint when she decided to remake a few of Toni Braxton’s single and album covers from the singer’s 1993 debut release.

And Braxton was delighted.

Ahead of the holiday, Bey posted three photos posing as Braxton on her Instagram page Tuesday, Oct. 30.

Starting with the cover for Braxton’s first-ever single “Another Sad Love Song,” Bey rounded out the trio of pics by including a cover of the contralto’s self-titled album.

“Sending love and adoration to one of our talented legends,” Bey captioned one of the photos. “Thank you for the countless bops. Your tone, your beauty, your range, and your God-given talent is treasured. Loving you always. Have a Happy Halloween my Kings and Queens.”

Of course, the BeyHive gushed over the identical recreations, which saw Bey as “Phoni Braxton” sporting a leather jacket, white tank top, pixie cut and a bold red lip that all matched her predecessor’s.

“Killed it 😍🙌🏽”

“You slayed that….”

“I am here for every single part of this #yasssss.”

Then, Braxton weighed in.

“Phoni Braxton!? NEVER!!! How do you look better than me on MY album cover?  I LOVE IT, Such a superstar! Thanks for the love sis!  Happy Halloween 🎃 Who run the world…GIRLS! GIRLS! 💃🏽💃🏼@beyonce,”

Fans continued to gush over the ode and Braxton’s acknowledgment of it.

“Imitation is the best form of flattery! You’re a legend!”

“Toni Braxton LIVING LEGEND!! Yaazzzzzahhh.”

“No way she looks better. But…such a nice way to pay hommage!”

“Beyoncé Braxton people👸👸”

“She definitely doesn’t look better but matched your beauty and essence🙌🏾 great way to honor a legend. 💕

“I love how humble Toni is, I mean not many people would say ‘How do you look better than me on MY album cover?’ That’s some pure humbleness. I stan a true QUEEN!🙌🏾 “
