Cynthia Bailey recently posted a meme as a warning of sorts and one fan thought she was taking a dig at her ex-husband Peter Thomas.
On Friday, Oct. 19, Bailey uploaded a message on Instagram that said, “You can NEVER build a kingdom with someone who still craves attention from the village.”
“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star punctuated the message by commenting with a target emoji.
Several fans boosted the message.
“Facts 💯👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾”
“YES YES and YES.”
“You ain’t never lied!!! @cynthiabailey10 You right when you said whatchu said!!!”
“Preach sista.”
“@cynthiabailey10 Let ’em KNOW 🙌🏽 🙌🏽 🙌🏽 🙌🏽”
“Super facts…I didn’t want to move out the hood my wife opened my eyes to the better life for our kids and it was the best move we ever did…no one knowing me in my neighborhood feels pretty good 💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿.”
However, one follower thought the message was meant for Thomas, whom Bailey was married to for six years.
“I think it’s low key Peter Thomas though,” Instagram user @tee6044 said.
“Nope. Think again,❤️” Bailey responded.
Since dissolving their union, which played out during the eighth season of “RHOA,” the duo has been on friendly terms, with Bailey even saying on Bravo’s “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” earlier this year that she was “happy” for Thomas meeting someone new.
“I haven’t met her but I’m happy for Peter,” she said of her entrepreneur ex dating a woman named Toni. “Yeah, I’m happy for him.”
And Bailey has firmly moved on from Thomas too. She’s smitten with her Fox Sports 1 anchor beau, Mike Hill, whom she met thanks to a dating segment on Steve Harvey’s show earlier this year.
