A recent Instagram post Peter Thomas made has fans wondering if he’s referring to his ex-wife Cynthia Bailey. Thomas on Friday, Aug. 24, uploaded a meme about why he may have given up on his marriage to “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star.
“I walked away because you were too busy finding faults in me, while I was too busy overlooking yours…” it read.
“Say no more,” Thomas said in the caption before tagging his Charlotte, N.C., businesses Sports One and ClubOne.

The post had several fans wondering if it was all dedicated to Bailey, as the pair divorced in 2017 after dealing with several issues throughout their six-year union. That included meddling from Bailey’s sister, Mal Bailey.

“WHO??? CUZ I KNOW U NOT TALKING ABOUT MY GIRL @cynthiabailey10.”
“Peter is really out here trying to help Cynthia with her storyline. Don’t do it, Peter.”
“I hope you’re referring to Cynthia. She was wrong for giving up on you.”
“She let her family ruin her marriage especially her sister, [Mal] always had something to say…where was her husband?”
Bailey and Thomas have been open about what ended their marriage in the past.
Thomas told Power98 that Bailey didn’t believe in his business and thus didn’t believe in him.
Bailey, on the other hand, said she backed up Thomas’ ventures.
“I think I wholeheartedly supported his business ventures,” she said. “I had just reached my personal breaking point. I felt like I didn’t have any more to give. So for me, it’s not about playing the blame game, who didn’t do enough, who wasn’t supportive enough.”
It’s not clear that Thomas’ post is referring to his ex-wife, however. Earlier this year, Bailey confirmed on Bravo’s “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” that her ex-husband had a new woman in his life.
“I haven’t met her but I’m happy for Peter,” she said. “Yeah, I’m happy for him.”
Whether or not the business owner is still seeing his girlfriend, Toni, isn’t known. But he last posted an Instagram picture with her on June 14 for her birthday.
Meanwhile, Bailey has moved on too. After exploring a relationship on RHOA last season that didn’t pan out, she’s found love with Mike Hill, a sportscaster for Fox Sports 1.
