NeNe Leakes Delivers Epic Dose of Shade to Shereé Whitfield and Kim Zolciak-Biermann In Playful RHOA Taglines

NeNe Leakes asked and her fans came out in droves to help her come up with a new tagline for the upcoming season of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.” And they didn’t disappoint when it came to shading Shereé Whitfield and Kim Zolciak-Biermann.

“(SWIPE) Listen Linda…The Taglines y’all posted to my IG was EVERYTHING! So damn creative and funny as s—! I just HAD to do something fun with some of them! I’m gonna try an post as many of these as i can until #RHOA airs so we all can ke keeeee together 😂 these are from @joshscheer @jacksonxernest YALL DID THAT #allfun #yallcrazy #lifeeeeee,” Leakes posted on Instagram Thursday, Oct. 11.

“They say I’m too much but the truth is, they will never be enough,” the star says in the first clip.

“You’ll never catch me wigging out — especially now that Wig is out,” Leakes recites in a second clip. It directly references Zolciak-Biermann, whom Leakes nicknamed “Wig” for her penchant for wearing hair pieces. Zolciak-Biermann appeared on season 10 of RHOA as a friend of the show but has made it clear she won’t return.

Then, it was time for shade to hit Whitfield.

“Winter, summer, spring or fall, I would give joggers to you all,” Leakes recited. The dig recounts Whitfield’s trouble telling Andy Cohen at the season 10 reunion when folks can get their hands on a pair of her apparel from her She By Shereeé clothing line.

“Joggers, it’s more lifestyle. I said I’m doing joggers. Lifestyle, athletic, yeah, lifestyle,” Whitfield stammered. “Probably more September, that is spring, summer. September show — spring, summer.”

The joggers have yet to be released.

Fans who caught Leakes’ taglines immediately began cracking up in the comments section.

“You wrong for 2 and 3 😂😂😂😩😩😩😩”

“First on classy but still given them shade 👓”

“That joggers part had me dying 😂😂”

“I like the Wig one! Use it nene.”

“@theepikar I screamed at the last two.”

Democracy needs journalism it can trust.

This election season, the stakes are higher than usual — and so is the pressure on newsrooms to soften their coverage, stay quiet, or just disappear. Independent reporting, the kind that answers to readers instead of advertisers or political pressure, matters more in a moment like this, not less.

For over 14 years, Atlanta Black Star has stayed independent and reader-funded. We have no corporate owner and no shareholders telling us what to cover or how to cover it. That independence is also our biggest vulnerability: nothing protects it except readers choosing to fund it directly.

Newspaper ad revenue has fallen more than 80% since 2005, and local newsrooms are closing at a rate of roughly two a week nationwide. When outlets go under in a moment like this, it's rarely the independent, reader-funded ones that get to stick around.

We know a request for support isn't why you came here. But without readers choosing to fund this work directly, the depth of reporting we can do at home and abroad shrinks along with everyone else's. If you're not in a position to give, that doesn't change how much we value you as a reader.

If you are able to, a recurring contribution does more for us than a single one-time gift, because it lets us plan the next investigation instead of just the next invoice. It takes about 30 seconds, no long form, no account. Thank you for continuing to support independent journalism and freedom of the press.
