Cynthia Bailey has responded to naysayers criticizing her relationship with her sportscaster boyfriend as he recovers from what appears to be an undisclosed illness.
“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star on Monday uploaded a selfie of herself and Mike Hill to her Instagram page.
“Sending much love & positive vibes to @itsmikehill. Praying you feel better soon baby❤️
#healthiswealth #healthscare #CHill #getwellsoon,” the model wrote in the caption of her Oct. 1 post.
And Hill was grateful for the support from his RHOA star girlfriend.
“Thanks baby!! I’m just missing you.”
“@itsmikehill Don’t make me get on a plane boy😂,” Bailey replied.
Fans poured out with messages hoping that the Fox Sports 1 host will get better.
“Get well soon Mike.”
“I hope all is well! #getwellsoon.”
“Get well soon @itsmikehill Sending you prayers and well wishes. @cynthiabailey10.”
“God is the healer of ALL things. Ask in faith and it shall be granted. prayers for your loved one.”
But several left comments that were critical of their relationship. They claimed Hill is too young or that they felt uneasy about him being Bailey’s boo.
“@cynthiabailey10 I love you so much, but I hate your taste in man after @peterthomasrhoa, u deserve someone mature……this college boys, it’s a big NO,” @shaahnavee wrote.
“Cynthia leave that little boy alone, he’s supposed to be at school now hahaha just kidding y’all look good together👍,” @darrylmoore9699 said.
“I don’t know why but every time I see this fella I get an uneasy, insincere feeling about him, but I hope my intuition is totally wrong, cos Cynthia is one of my favourite and I long for her to meet a very good man. I did not see Peter for her at all and look what happen there. Jus saying you all!!” posted @ochirios60.
Bailey hit back at each of the responses respectively.
“@shaahnavee he’s 48 but ok.”
“@darrylmoore9699 Lol He’s 48❤️”
“@ochirios60 I appreciate your concern. We are very happy. Rest easy. We are good❤️.”
By Wednesday, Bailey had updated fans that her man was resting at home and out of the hospital.
