Tommie Lee Turns Herself In and Vows to Never Return to Jail

Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta” star Tommie Lee turned herself over to Georgia authorities on Tuesday and is serving two days in jail.

The star recently plead guilty to driving under the influence and also driving without headlights on. She was originally facing two years behind bars, but her plea deal opted for her to only serve 48 hours in Fulton County Jail, 40 hours of community service and 12 months of probation.

Lee took to Instagram Live on Sept 25 and filmed herself driving to the slammer. In the recording, she said, “On my way to jail and this is the last time I’ll ever ever will be making this trip.” She added, ” This is the last time we doing this kids.”

The reality star walked into the jail and yelled to police officials, “What up ya’ll today is the day let’s get this s**t over with now.”

The VH1 reality actress has struggled with excessive drinking over the years. She revealed on “LHHATL” that “alcoholism runs deep” in her family and helps her “cope.”

Nevertheless, fans flooded Lee’s latest photo with “free Tommie” comments and sent prayers her way.
