Wendy Williams Says New Edition’s Ronnie DeVoe Is ‘All Up In Women’s Business’ on Upcoming RHOA Season

Wendy Williams is spilling some tea about the upcoming season of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.” After the season 11 cast photo was posted on the Bravo TV website over the weekend, it was revealed that singer Shamari DeVoe was one of the new cast members.

However, Williams said it’s not the Blaque group member that is the one getting the drama going. Rather, it’s her husband, New Edition star Ronnie DeVoe.

“The background noise about ‘Atlanta’ is that he’s really the scene-stealer out of all the girls,” Williams dished. “They’re saying he’s all up in women’s business. They’re saying he definitely knows how to give it to you with the neck going and everything. So he’s very involved.

“I don’t know Shamari but I’ll take her if only I can get some Ronnie DeVoe,” Williams adds.

News first emerged that Shamari may be joining the ‘wives in July when she performed at an Atlanta concert event that was captured by RHOA cameras.

More fuel was added to that speculation when Shamari was seen dancing to TLC’s “Creep” at a lingerie party that was thrown on the show with castmates including Kandi Burruss.

As for how fans feel about the new cast photo, which also includes nurse and TechSquare Labs director Tanya Sam, some aren’t keen on Shamari’s inclusion.

“Love Shamari Devoe; don’t want to see her brand tarnished by being on this type of reality show. #prayingitwont All the ladies look fabulous!”

“@allanwinfrey12 Shamari is a sweetheart but this ain’t for her and her non dressing ass.”

“Wow Shamari Ronnie’s wife, surprise that they want to put their lives on TV.”

“@princessjojo11 Exactly! N the other girl Shamari is from the girl group Blaque (remember them?) And she’s married to Ronnie Devoe. I hope they not trying to get their careers poppin again… on some lhh.”
