Floyd Mayweather Dragged Into Bitter Child Support Battle Between Chris Brown and Royalty’s Mom Nia Guzman

Chris Brown and the mother of his child Nia Guzman are embroiled in a dispute over child support, and Floyd Mayweather’s name came up.

The back-and-forth between Brown and Guzman began after Guzman hired the famed lawyer Lisa Bloom to get higher monthly payments from the singer. Currently, she gets $2,500 per month for their daughter Royalty, and Brown pays Guzman’s mother an additional $4,000 to be the 4-year-old’s nanny.

But Guzman said she’s fallen on hard financial times, because her online clothing store RoyaltyBrown.com only makes $400 per month. And this is where Floyd Mayweather comes in.

According to The Blast, the retired boxer donated $20,000 to the website as a “silent friend,” and it was also revealed that he and Guzman have a close relationship.

Plus, Brown didn’t know about the investment, which adds another chapter to this story since he and Mayweather aren’t the best of friends. That’s because the veteran fighter sided with Soulja Boy when he had issues with Brown in 2017.

If you recall, the rapper and singer were supposed to settle their differences by boxing each other, and Mayweather trained Soulja Boy. In the end, the fight never happened, but the tensions between Brown and Mayweather remained.

The court documents also reveal that the R&B star made $4,269,067 since 2016, and Guzman could receive as much as $21,000 per month based on the laws of California, where the case is being handled. Guzman is also seeking $250,000 in retroactive child support payments, and Brown is now challenging everything.

At this time, Mayweather hasn’t commented on the investment or his relationship with Guzman, but there’s a chance that more of their dealings with each other will be revealed in the future.
