Naturi Naughton and 50 Cent are having a playful disagreement about their “Power” characters Natasha St. Patrick and Kanan Stark.
As anyone who watches the Starz’s series knows, Natasha and her estranged TV husband Ghost haven’t been the most faithful to each other, and 50 said he slept with Tasha back in the day.
“I wouldn’t be laying here if it wasn’t for your little f—–up kid and Tasha,” wrote Fif over a photo of Kanan’s corpse. “You ain’t never gonna find out I f—– her a few times back in the day. Lol.”
Later, Naughton got into character and responded to the rapper.
“Okay, so I need to clear something up in the voice of Tasha,” she said. “F— that motherf—–. Kanan has never and never will, even from the grave, get any of this, okay? We’ve never been together, we’ve never had sex, we have never done anything. Let’s clear that up. I know 50, I see your post. Stop lying to these people. You dead. Bye-bye. It’s a wrap. Tasha got you. Love you, boo.”
Naughton also captioned her post.
“For all my #powertv people, let’s be clear, Kanan has never got any of Tasha’s nookie,” she wrote. “#Boybye, #StoptheLies, #TeamTasha, #StandUp, #KananIsDead, #HowHeTalkingFromThe Grave.”
Naughton’s post then sparked a lot of chatter among “Power” fans, who came up with various theories about the storyline.
“People will soon find out the whole purpose of Tariq getting Kanin’s ashes, and why Tasha has always hated him,” one person wrote. “Kanin was Tariq’s real dad. Don’t @ me with no stupid ass questions. Sorry to spoil things for you.”
“Petty move Tasha,” wrote someone else. “Makes me further believe Kanan got the ass.”
50 hasn’t responded to Naughton’s post, but, based on his history, he might be concocting something now.
