Kandi Burruss is all for making boss moves, and she has found a way to make light of a career-threatening accusation.
The “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star announced the upcoming sale of tickets for her “wild” show that’s set to debut soon. Burruss took to Instagram on Sunday and shared a video featuring reality star Malaysia Pargo. The two were dressed up burlesque-style, and Burruss had a whip in her hand. The mother of two, seated on a sort of throne, appeared to be spanking the “Basketball Wives of L.A.” star on the thigh.
The “RHOA” celeb captioned the video, “Make sure to get tickets to the wild over the top event I’m putting together for October 12th when they become available this week. Who wants to come? 🙋🏾♀️😜 Check in below!”
Fans flooded Burruss’ Instagram with comments about the event, and one person wrote, “That’s right cash in on the scandal they tried to put out on your name.” The reality star replied, “Turn a negative into a positive.”
Another person chimed in and added, “Keep building empires with the stones thrown from haters.”
“Definitely understand the memo! She’s turning a negative into a positive! Make that money!”
“So is this the sex dungeon? Make them eat their words! You go Kandi girll.”
One fan said, “Cute event idea! If they say you have a dungeon make them pay to see it😂.”
Burruss’ salacious “sex dungeon” event stems from the rape rumors spread by her former friend Phaedra Parks. The Atlanta attorney told Porsha Williams that Burruss and her husband Todd Tucker allegedly planned to drug and rape Williams.
The “Xscape” artist was devastated by the rumor Parks confessed to spreading. Burruss exploded on Parks during the “RHOA” season nine reunion and said, “Y’all know how much I care about my business and my brand. … Y’all accused me of being a f—— rapist.”
Burruss and Williams have since been able to bury the hatchet. However, the singer no longer has a friendship with Parks.
