Kansas City Chiefs cornerback Orlando Scandrick isn’t giving up on the idea of Draya Michele becoming his wife.
The couple have been dating for quite a while and were initially engaged in 2015. The former “Basketball Wives” star told People Magazine, “He got down on one knee and as soon as he started to talk I got nervous and couldn’t help but to laugh hysterically. I was laughing and crying at the same time. … It’s more than beautiful than I expected.”

However, their engagement didn’t last long, and the pair reportedly split in 2016 after Michele accused Scandrick of hurting her and lying to her. She wrote on Instagram, “I gotta do better. … I left gave back the ring and left… He just deleted the photos.”
Scandrick and Michele were spotted back together in 2017 and apparently placed their prior relationship drama behind them.
Nevertheless, the NFL football player took to one of Michele’s Instagram photos and teased about marrying her in the comments. The model shared a photo of she and Kylie Jenner posing together and captioned the image, “Sporty + Baby #SpiceUpYourLife #ziggazigah #ugottagetwithmyfriendslookingass.”
Scandrick slid in her comments and wrote, “You wanna get married.” Michele responded back to her boyfriend, “but let’s go to the courthouse when you land tho !!!!”
The cornerback replied, “Let’s do it!”
