‘Ya Dig?’ Snoop Dogg to Unleash His ‘Blazin’ Recipes on the World with New Cookbook

Rapper Snoop Dogg shows that he’s really is a jack of many trades after announcing the launch of a new cookbook.

The west-coast rapper is making good use of the additional leverage gained from his popular show with lifestyle maven Martha Stewart. According to Pitchfork, the cookbook, called “From Crook to Cook” will have 50 recipes that the rapper said will focus on, “snacks to satisfy those munchies.” Adding, “You know it’s blazin’ up in my kitchen. I’m takin’ the cookbook game higher with a dipped and whipped collection of my favorite recipes, ya dig?”

The “Drop It Like It’s Hot Rapper” is constantly reinventing himself and his image. In March, Snoop released a 32 track gospel album called, “Bible of Love.” It featured several gospel music veterans such as Fred Hammond, John P. Kee, Mavin Sapp and The Clark Sisters. The rapper, who received some backlash for genre shift, explained why the album was important to him, “A lot of times, you see me performing for thousands of people, filling their hearts with love and joy, not knowing that I’m going through so much pain. But God knows everything, and I mean everything, that I’m going through.”

Snoop Lion’s cookbook is set to drop October 23.
