Fans Disappointed In Tamar Braxton’s Lack of Inclusion on ‘Braxton Family Values’

The highly-anticipated second half of the sixth season of “Braxton Family Values” premiered Thursday, Aug. 16 and fans appear to have been left unimpressed since Tamar Braxton failed to be included.

The episode focused on Towanda Braxton getting Toni Braxton’s marriage plans together, Traci Braxton and Trina Braxton chatting with mom Evelyn Braxton — who was also honored with the Blue Diamond Best Mother Award — about her love life and Traci grabbling with her getting kicked off Traci and Tamar’s tour.

But fans weren’t enthused about any of those storylines.

“So far this is boring without Tamar #braxtonfamilyvalues.”

“Very boring so far 🤷🏽‍♀️ #braxtonfamilyvalues.”

And one fan even dismissed Towanda’s storyline involving her seeing a mystery man altogether.

“#braxtonfamilyvalues Towanda needs a storyline, other [than] this secret boyfriend, who gives a f—. I see why Sheryl Lee Ralph forgot Towanda name why Tracy got annoyed w/Towanda about asking about the tour. I have an idea💡work on that weave and mind your business.”

The episode aired after reports surfaced that the entire Braxton brood aside from Traci failed to show up on set. The incident forced crews to shut down filming in June. However, a recent report from fan Instagram account the Tamar Chronicles asserted that filming had resumed. And a trailer for the next half of the season revealed crews have been forced to shoot the episodes in real time.

Meanwhile, Tamar’s inclusion in the series remains to be seen as she was reluctant to discuss her personal life with her sisters earlier in the season. She also had issues with the family taking aim at husband Vince Herbert, whom at the time Tamar was trying to reconcile with before ultimately filing for divorce.

In May, Tamar reportedly took her defense of her husband even further according to TMZ by refusing to promote the show after her family made Herbert appear to be villainous.

“[Tamar is upset that her family would] stoop so low for personal gain,” a source said.
