Don’t come for Tami Roman unless you’re ready to face the wrath of her daughter. Jazz Anderson clapped back at a commenter on her mom’s Instagram page Monday after the IG user appeared to make fun of the “Basketball Wives” star’s weight.
“The hardest bridge to burn is the one between who you were and who you’re becoming ~ @jjonthemic,” Roman captioned the Aug. 13 post.
Yet one person appeared not to be a fan of Roman’s relatively new slimmed-down figure.
“Alright candlesticks. Stay lit,” @mommalouisiana remarked.
“@mommalouisiana U lame. How you come on someone else’s page (WHO U STILL FOLLOW) early in the morning to hate. Go brush your teeth first, get the crust out your eye before you attempt a bad joke.”
In response, @mommalouisiana attempted to clarify what she meant.
“I wasn’t coming for your Mother disrespectfully at all. I comment on her posts all the time about her legs being beautiful. Please forgive me if what I said came out wrong. I love Tami for being real and for battling diabetes, which my own Mother has. Again, I sincerely apologize if my comment was misunderstood. I would NEVER attack someone who I admire.”
That Anderson would be so defensive over a Roman detractor isn’t surprising. Roman has had to deal with fan comments for months since debuting a slimmer frame earlier this summer.

“Tami Roman must be got something done to her face too😭her face so damn skinny now.”
Even Roman’s BBW co-star Evelyn Lozada took a jab at Roman for her weight loss.
“You need to worry about something else like your health,” Lozada said on-air. “You’re lookin’ like a crackhead these days.”
Such remarks led Roman to point out that her diabetes has led her to make changes in her life and take control.
“I didn’t lose weight, I lost my willingness to die. DIABETES IS NO JOKE!” she said in June. “I detox, suppress my appetite and make better food choices. So enjoy yourself laughing, leaving negative comments & calling me a ‘crackhead’…but I have two beautiful daughters and I’m gon’ live for them by ANY means necessary. 💯”
