Omarosa Manigault-Newman Claims She Has Access to Tapes of Trump Dropping N-word

Omarosa Manigault-Newman is alleging that tapes do exist of now-President Donald Trump dropping the N-word during his time hosting NBC’s “The Apprentice.”

Excerpts from Manigault-Newman’s memoir, “Unhinged: An Insider’s Account of the Trump White House,” reveal the former contestant on the reality series had a gateway to access the damaging tapes.

According to portions of the book obtained by The Guardian ahead of the book’s release Tuesday, Aug. 14, Manigault-Newman says a source from “The Apprentice” contacted her claiming to have ownership of the recordings. This came after the White House had scrambled to prep a response to the clips, which were never released.

“By that point, three sources in three separate conversations had described the contents of this tape,” the former White House Director of Communications for the Office of Public Liaison wrote. “They all told me that President Trump hadn’t just dropped a single N-word bomb. He’d said it multiple times throughout the show’s taping during off-camera outtakes, particularly during the first season of ‘The Apprentice’.

“I would look like the biggest imbecile alive for supporting a man who used that word,” she added before noting she disclosed the recordings’ existence to former White House communications director Hope Hicks.

Manigault-Newman speculates that Hicks told White House chief of staff John Kelly that she was getting close to obtaining the tapes, which the second-time memoir writer believed gave him cause to terminate her.

Manigault-Newman famously parted ways with the White House officially in January after much public confusion over if she was fired or left by her own volition.

“It had finally sunk in that the person I’d thought I’d known so well for so long was actually a racist,” she said recalling her sudden change in job status. “Using the N-word was not just the way he talks but, more disturbing, it was how he thought of me and African Americans as a whole.”

In May, Manigault-Newman said she was contacted by one of her three sources about the tapes.

“I was told exactly what Donald Trump said – yes, the N-word and others in a classic Trump-goes-nuclear rant – and when he’s said them. During production, he was miked, and there is definitely an audio track.”

She also claimed Trump had spoken negatively about former President Barack Obama back in 2007 when the hotel mogul was still in his 9-year stint as “The Apprentice” host.

“During boardroom outtakes, Donald talked about Obama often,” Manigault-Newman said. “He hated him. He never explained why, but now I believe it was because Obama was Black.”

The revelations, however, didn’t leave many on Manigault-Newman’s side.

“Omarosa reveals that the sky is blue.”

“But she worked to get him elected and then worked for him in the white house sooo……”

“Surprise, surprise! You still took the job at the WH 😂😂😂.”
