During the “Basketball Wives” episode that just aired Sunday on the series’ new night, Jennifer Williams continued to insist she has receipts on the rumor spread about Evelyn Lozada sleeping with Shaunie O’Neal’s ex.
She explained to her pal Kristen Scott at the 20:21 mark that it was Tami Roman who brought up the rumor, claiming that Roman’s “evil plotting ass” dug it up to ruin her relationship with Lozada and O’Neal.
“I’m really tryna just keep the peace and let s— die. But if you wanna keep starting s— I can pull some s— out too,” Williams says.
She added in a confessional that Roman definitely “be talkin’ s—.”
“I have messages from your personal conversations and it’s not he say, she say. This s— is in black and white,” she says before the scene cuts to her meal with Scott where she says the alleged messages are still in her old, cracked phone.
Williams’ claim comes weeks after Roman sat down with O’Neal one-on-one and showed her a group text thread where Williams exposed herself as the person behind the rumor. But on the Aug. 5 episode, Williams only admitted to ever telling Roman about the cheating allegations.
“‘Shaunie never got back to me ladies, we need Malaysia to drop a dime to her about her ex and that witch,’” O’Neal read from the messages in Roman’s phone.
“‘You need proof and solid hardcore proof,’” she read of someone else’s
“Ugh, I know. Gotta nail her ass to the cross with this. With no resurrection.’” O’Neal read of Williams’ response.
But toward the end of the episode, when the ladies attended Jackie Christie’s event, Williams had issues unlocking her old phone to show her proof. When she finally did, the texts didn’t show up.
As such, fans who watched the show weren’t buying that Williams actually ever had any evidence to support her story.
