“Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta” cast-mate Tommie Lee finally had her court-ordered ankle bracelet removed and fans were quite supportive of the star.
The upcoming rap artist ran into prior legal trouble due to her excessive drinking and was ordered to wear a monitor around her ankle for several months. However, all of that is behind her and the star was happy to just have her “leg back.”
Lee took to her Instagram Live video on Saturday and recorded the entire process of having her bracelet cut off. She filmed herself walking into the CSRA Probation Services Inc. She said in her video, “Today is the day I say goodbye to my little friend,” and motioned towards the legal device.”
A legal representative was seen clipping the monitor off and Lee wrote, “I pray I never ever experience this typa embarrassment again in life.”
The “LHHATL” star was overwhelmed with joy after the removal process was over and typed, “Can’t wait to take a bath and go swimming.”
Fans chimed in under the comment section to congratulate Lee offer her a few words of encouragement.
“I’m proud of her. I hope she keep up the good work 🤗,” a fan of Lee’s wrote.
“There’s life after the tunnel keep your head up Tommie❤️,” another added.
“Keep going!!”
“Congrats. Stay strong and Positive.”
An Instagram user said, “I hope she got a plan to get some act right and never get it again! Lesson learned! Good luck! Go live your Best life in a positive way!😘”
In May, a Georgia judge ordered the “LHHATL” star to wear the SCRAM Continuous Alcohol Monitoring device around her ankle due to two pending cases she had against her. She was not allowed to consume any alcohol until her cases were finalized. The device was made to monitor alcohol intake every few minutes.
During the recent season of the VH1 reality show, Lee revealed her struggles with alcohol. She said it helped her “cope with a lot of things going on in my life.” However, the star said she’s working on bettering herself.
