Rapper French Montana has become the latest celebrity to be victimized in a home invasion on Tuesday morning.
TMZ reports that LAPD received a call from Montana’s Los Angeles Calabasas home at 8:00 AM but the robbery reportedly took place hours before. Authorities did not confirm if the rapper, real name Karim Kharbouch was home, but did confirm at least two people were in the 6 bedroom home at the time of the break-in. Reports say at least two armed men busted into the mansion, stole property and left. The exact and what exactly was stolen is unknown, reports People.
It is reported that no one had to be hospitalized when police arrived on the scene.
The “Unforgettable” rapper bought his luxurious home from singer Selena Gomez who reportedly had a few issues of her own. A stalker was able to break into Gomez’s home just a few days after she moved in. In fear of the intruder, she had to call the authorities three times.
Many rappers including more recently The Game had to deal with intruders. The “How We Do” rapper posted surveillance footage of intruders attempting to break into his home but was unsuccessful. The rapper posted a caption that said, “These niggas was on the ground checking the windows & doors for sensors & once they saw house was secure, & my 2 Rottweilers were in the crib they aborted mission.” He continued, “The 1st nigga walk look hella familiar & I’m on it !!!”
