Kenya Moore is giving the clearest answer so far about her status on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.”
The reality star on Tuesday shot down a report from an RHOA fan account that said she was offered a friend of the show role.
“Production is, in fact, scrambling to reintroduce Kenya to the group [since] she hasn’t filmed with them since they began a few weeks ago! … As I mentioned a few weeks ago, Kenya was in fact offered a ‘friend’ of the cast role like Shereé [Whitfield], but Kenya felt she deserved more! A full-time role like the others! That being said, sis just might have pulled the right strings in NYC!”
A fan tweeted that the news “better be true,” but Moore replied that wasn’t the case.
“Nope… was never offered a friend role, just friend💲to do the same job and show family and baby story. 🤔 No movement in negotiations but not to worry… a girl has options just in case 💅🏾 👸🏾.”
Another fan replied writing, “If Kenya ain’t on RHOA I ain’t watching. Out of all the seasons Kenya has been on, this one is the most deserved. This is the climax of her storyline. This is her happy ending. Andy better fix this one!!”
“I feel you, as a fan, I wholeheartedly agree this would be the pinnacle of my tenure on the show,” Moore said in response before shading her fellow ‘wives like Porsha Williams and NeNe Leakes for their run-ins with the law. “The fans deserve to see my happy ending… unfortunately, it’s not up to me. Maybe I should have committed some crimes 😏.”
Moore also admitted it was painful to be caught in the casting situation at as a married, pregnant woman in the next phase of her life.
“A dream would be to have everything aligned for once in my life… falling in love, getting married, having a baby, businesses thriving and work life… all at 47 🤷🏾♀️. God will have my back.”
The series of tweets Tuesday follows Moore giving fans a bit of a fright last week when she appeared to be telling her RHOA co-stars goodbye.
“Thank you for making me feel so loved @cynthiabailey10 I miss you! Thank you @kandi for always being you and @porsha4real for sending your well wishes. #sisterhood #babydaly #RHOA,” she said July 18 of peach holders Cynthia Bailey, Kandi Burruss and Williams.
However, she clarified that she was “just sending out love.”
