While you were probably enjoying some down time this weekend, Floyd Mayweather and 50 Cent were going at each other on Instagram.
Mayweather posted a lengthy message and said the rapper’s music career has stalled. He also brought up 50’s strained relationship with his son Marquise, which has always been a sensitive topic for the G-Unit leader.
“Curtis ‘Confidential Informant’ Jackson, you’re mad because your oldest son Marquise mother doesn’t want to be with you,” wrote the retired fighter. “Your son, your own flesh and blood, don’t want nothing to do with you. You haven’t had a hit song on radio in who knows when, and you’re definitely not hot enough to even sell records anymore so Interscope dropped you. You are jealous of any rapper, athlete or entertainer that’s hot or got something going on for themselves. You are a certified snitch, and we got paperwork to prove it.”
From the outside looking in, 50 and Floyd always had a very complicated relationship, which seems to change each year.
At one point, they were close friends and seemingly spent a lot of time together, plus, both were members of TMT, the Money Team, with people like Ray J. The former fighter even got 50 into the boxing promotion business.
Before this most recent dispute, Floyd and the rapper began beefing over singer Teairra Mari, who sued 50 for posting a sexually explicit photo of her.
Afterward, Floyd started working with Mari to promote a Memorial Day weekend event, and the “In Da Club” creator accused him of being disloyal. He then started taking shots at the retired fighter, who’s remained pretty quiet until this last message.
“You’re currently living in a f—-ing apartment in Jersey,” wrote Floyd. “You are always in somebody else’s business just to stay relevant. That’s not a mansion in Connecticut that you’re in debt for, that’s a dump, a money pit an oversized trap house. It was dope when Mike Tyson had it in the late 80’s early 90’s, but you couldn’t afford to maintain it. You’re always talking about somebody is broke, but the last time I checked it was Curtis Jackson that filed for bankruptcy not Floyd Mayweather.”
Floyd also said the rapper has been affected with an STD by Daphne Joy, the mother of his youngest son.
“So quick to gossip like a Bitch, why don’t you tell everybody how you got Herpes from DJ” he wrote. “Where’s your memes for that, huh?” And by the way, don’t ask to borrow no more money from me.”
50 has since responded and as he did before, suggested Floyd has literacy problems. He also brought up his domestic violence charges.
“I must have hurt your feelings champ,” he wrote. “[You] had someone write a book. I’m gonna take my time with this, so I get it all out. We are gonna start with your 11 domestic violence cases. Wait a minute, I’ll do them in order. Remember you asked for this.”

Then Marquise’s mother Shaniqua Tompkins chimed in and posted a meme to say she’s paying attention to all the drama, which 50 responded to.
“Lol. This bum bitch want in,” he wrote. “Champ making up sh–. When I return the favor he won’t recover because I’m gonna tell you the truth.”
