Stevie J. and Faith Evans made headlines after the two reportedly tied the knot in Las Vegas, Nevada on Tuesday night.
The “Love and Hip Hop” star and R&B diva filed for a marriage license in Clark County and several witnesses were in attendance at their ceremony. The two said “I do” in their hotel room around 10:30 p.m., TMZ reported.
Stevie J. whose birth name is Steven Aaron Jordan took to social media on Wednesday and subtly announced the news. He wrote, “I love you Faith Renee Jordan” and Evans responded, “I love you back Steven Aaron Jordan.”

Fans already speculated about the couple after they released their steamy music video “A Minute.” The pair could barely keep their hands off of each other throughout the 22-second clip and they seemed quite flirtatious.

“Are ya’ll back together,” one fan asked.
However, news of Evans and Stevie J.’s marriage blinded and shocked their fans. Nevertheless, many of their social media followers congratulated the newlyweds on “real love.”
“Congratulations on yall wedding you and Faith I am sooo Happy finally normal,” one fan wrote.
“Congratulations to you and faith. A true man will change for the true love of his life,” another added.
“Congratulations on y’all marriage now we shall see less drama,” a fan commented.
“Congratulations on Your Union 💕Stevie don’t Mess it up,” an IG user said.
The two have one year to solemnize their union before their marriage license expires.
This is Stevie J’s first time officially tying the knot although he and the “Puerto Rican Princess” Joseline Hernandez lied about being married in 2016. Evans was previously married to legendary rapper Biggie Smalls in 1994 and music executive Todd Russaw in 1997.
The couple first met during their days with “Bad Boy Entertainment” in the 90’s. They began dating sometime in 2016. However, the couple broke up last year and remained good friends.
