Beyoncé really shined during her Coachella performance in April and now fans can relive that experience with her new Balmain collection.
The French fashion company announced on Tuesday that it’ll be launching the “Beyoncé x” Balmain collection nationwide on July 14 online. However, those who live in Paris will have access to the line a day sooner on July 13 at the flagship store.
Beyoncé’s HBCU-themed wardrobe line features “BK” hoodies and shirts in Black, yellow and pink, similar to the Balmain custom-made apparel Queen Bey wore when she headlined at Coachella. The only difference is there will be a Balmain logo with Greek Deltas replacing the A’s.
The money received from the Beychella line will benefit the United Negro College Fund for Black students. The creative director for Balmain Olivier Rousteing said the company wanted to “repay an obvious debt for the inspiration we received from [HBCUs’] signature spirit and legacy” according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Rousteing said he’s been working with Beyoncé for months to craft each design perfectly and said collaborating with the singer was truly an amazing experience.
“I can say today, with absolute confidence, that collaborating with Beyoncé on her Coachella concerts is destined to be one of the most important and treasured memories of my career. Why? Because Beyoncé,” the creative said in a press release. “She’s a goddess, blessed with an incredibly beautiful voice and a moral vision to match … Her level of obsessive perfectionism matches mine, so we loved poring over everything — literally everything — together.”
The “Beyoncé x” line ranges from $290–$1,790 and will be available on July 14 to Harrods, Barneys New York, Net-a-Porter and a few more retailers.
