Cardi B compares husband Offset cheating ways to the likes of Martin Luther King, JAY-Z and Bill Clinton.
After news broke that she and Migos member Offset secretly wed in September, several fans began chastising the former “Love and Hip Hop” star for taking the cheating rapper back.
Offset has been publicly exposed for cheating on his pregnant partner more than once, including a second incident in January that caught the Lawrenceville, Ga. native in two raunchy videos with a woman other than Cardi.
The “I Like It” performer had no problem taking her man back, however, explaining in Cosmopolitan’s April issue she wanted to “work out my s— with my man, and I don’t got to explain why. I’m not your property. This is my life … I’m going to take my time, and I’m going to decide on my decision … It’s not right, what he f—ing did — but people don’t know what I did, ’cause I ain’t no angel.”
More recently, Cardi had another justification for sticking by her less than faithful hubby.
“So they married💀 and he still cheated🤨🙂okay sis,” an Instagram user said.
“And so did Martin Luther King, Kobe [Bryant], Jay-Z and [Bill] Clinton and most likely your father but guess what? We work[ed] things out, we grew, ’bout to have a baby and purchasing a home together. S— happens. 🤷🏾♀️”
Twitter users swiftly chimed in by posting their issues with Cardi B’s response.
“We need to stop letting [these me] have a free pass after cheating 😣.
Pretty soon they won’t feel bad about it. It will become a way of life. No!”
“Cardi B justified being cheated on while married because MLK Jr. did it. Ok. We get it’s a true statement but don’t speak on him as [a] voice of reason in that context. That is honestly the cheapest reasoning ever.”
