“Growing Up Hip Hop: Atlanta” star Zonnique Pullins’ Father’s Day wish to her dad drew criticism Sunday when it appeared she didn’t wish stepdad T.I. the same — even though the rapper helped raise her.
“Happy Father’s day to my crazy ass twin who I’m always gone act a fool about cause he do the same for me! Love you, daddy,” she posted on Instagram Sunday, June 17.
But many wondered why the same well-wishes that were extended to Pullin’s dad, Zonnie “Zebo” Pullins, weren’t offered to Tip, as he helped wife Tameka “Tiny” Harris raise Zonnique since the age of 5.
“Damn what about T.I.? He don’t get posted?”
“You better give T.I. some mf credit.”
“Oh, but wasn’t you just fighting with him over T.I.? I’m so confused. I understand that’s your daddy but where is T.I. Post??? Regardless of what him and your mom got going on, you can’t neglect the fact he took care of you and set you up for an opportunity to make money for the rest of your life. 🤔 I love you girl but you need to acknowledge T.I. too cause he helped you a lot financially.”
However, others defended Zonnique’s post saying she gave Tip a shoutout earlier on her Instagram Story.
“@jonesviola76 she did post T.I., relax & mind your business.”
“Don’t get it twisted, people T.I. is her dad but that’s her birth dad so she should always respect and love him just as much!!!! Love that she loves both of them the same she is not taking anything away from what Tip means to her!!!”
“[T.I.] helped you financially? Do you not know who her momma is? Tiny was making money before she even met Tip. She wished him and her grandfather a happy Father’s Day on her story. If she doesn’t want to make a whole post about him she doesn’t have to.”
