Months after Bill Cosby was found guilty on three felony accounts of sexual assault, Camille Cosby has reportedly moved out of their home.
The TV dad’s wife has reportedly taken the couple’s three kids and moved into the pair’s home in Massachusetts, along with a chef, several drivers and a house manager, Radar Online reported Wednesday, June 13. There, Camille reportedly spends her days diving into the Olympic-sized pool, meeting with female friends for emotional support and selling off family assets — like a private jet and vintage car collection — to make up for her husband’s legal bills.
“He literally is home alone,” a source told the website of the couple’s separate lives. “She even took the staff with her!”
The comedian was found guilty on three counts of aggravated sexual assault in a retrial against former Temple University worker Andrea Constand in April. He faces up to 30 years in prison.
“They’ve been fighting and arguing since the verdict,” the source added of the spouses. “She wanted a divorce, but he begged her to stay!”
While Camille seems to be living it up in Shelburne Falls, Mass., Cosby is reported to be confined in his Cheltenham, Pa., property in an ankle bracelet. He’s reportedly only allowed to leave home for doctor’s and lawyers’ appointments and so Radar claims the comic has resorted to feigning sickness in an attempt to get medical care at the home where Camille is staying. The scheme is reported to be an effort to win back his wife.
“Camille wants to leave his scandal behind her. She has no interest in seeing Bill,” a source blabbed. “She wants to reside quietly in Shelburne — and doesn’t want his reputation affecting the life she’s building for herself!”
Meanwhile, Cosby has reportedly been ordered to take a psychiatric test to determine if he’s suffering from a “mental abnormality.” But the 80-year-old isn’t up for it.
“Bill was adamant about not taking the sexual predator assessment that the judge ordered,” the source said before noting Camille “was definitely sick of the drama.”
Additionally, Camille is planning to put the couple’s Pennsylvania and New York homes up for sale once her husband is put behind bars.
The Radar Online rumor is a 180 from the support Camille showed for her husband of 54 years in the wake of his verdict. She issued a statement demanding a criminal investigation against the prosecutor.
“This is mob justice, not real justice,” she wrote in a three-page statement. “This tragedy must be undone not just for Bill Cosby, but for the country.”
Amid the new report, fans have been chiming in on a possible Cosby divorce.
“Why now? She should stay and be the ‘friend’ he needs. Even Judas had friends, don’t leave him.”
“It’s an unfortunate situation and I pray that Mrs. Cosby and family will rally around Mr. Cosby, this is not the time for him to be alone and I’m sure the love is still there.”
