Candace Owens isn’t a fan of Jay-Z and Beyoncé and she’s explaining why in a new interview.
The conservative Black Lives Matter opponent began by explaining that “leftist-dogma” has brainwashed Black America. She further explained that there’s an idea that Black people must vote Democratic or otherwise be considered racist.
“I believed it and I’m a pretty smart girl, I’m a very smart girl … so how did I fall victim to it?” Owens says on “The Joe Rogan Experience” Thursday, May 31. “The exact same system, these three vertices. The first being the breakdown of the family, the second one being culture, which to me, growing up it was … like Jay-Z was God to me. … I didn’t have a great family … but I would throw on a Jay-Z album and whatever he said, it was like going to church — and I can’t stand him now.
“He knows exactly what he’s doing and he’s a traitor,” she said after noting the third verticle is education.
After lumping his wife, Beyoncé, into the mix, Owens further explained the rapper “knows what’s happening to Black America and he’s somebody that’s built his entire career off the backs of Black America.”
“You know, of being the guy who started in the hood in Queens [he actually grew up in Brooklyn] and worked as a drug dealer and worked his way up and he became the idol for so many people in Black America and then he stands on stage and endorses Hillary Clinton. He stands on stage and tells Black America to put the same people in the White House that locked up more Black men than any president in the history of the United States: Bill Clinton.”
Owens added that because Jay is focused on getting “the globalist piece of the pie” he’s ditched his concerns for Black America. She also dismissed the idea that Jay supported Clinton in opposition to Trump’s racist values — despite never speaking to the rapper personally.
“It’s a certain thing that I know that Jay-Z and Beyoncé betrayed the Black community,” she says, asserting the power couple was interested in financial gain. “They want to be the people that control the world and they feel that Hillary Clinton — they were working with Obama very closely … and they wanted to stay in that group and so they supported Hillary Clinton who was selected behind closed doors — forget the American people — to be the next president of the United States.”
In response, several people lashed out at Owens.
“This girl clearly has an agenda and wants a ‘[piece]’ of the pie.'”
“So she’s never talked to Jay-Z about his agenda but she knows everything about his agenda.🤔🤔🤔”
“She thinks Jay-Z is from Queens. That made everything else that she said irrelevant.”
