Bobby Brown has a cure-all for Kanye West’s latest antics: a good slap from the “My Prerogative” singer.
Brown on Wednesday said West licensing a photo of the late Whitney Houston’s drug-covered bathroom for the cover of GOOD Music executive’s Pusha T’s new album was “in bad taste.”
“Why would he post that on his album cover?” Brown told Rolling Stone May 30. “That’s really disgusting that he would do that. That’s in really bad taste. Something should happen to Kanye. He’s already crazy. I knew that when I first met him. Now he’s pushing the bar a little bit. He needs somebody to slap him up or something. And I’m just the person to do it.”
Pusha T explained on “The Angie Martinez Show” on Thursday, May 24 that West decided to change the cover for his new album, “Daytona” at the last minute.
“He changed my artwork at 1:00 a.m., ‘cause he wasn’t feeling it,” Pusha said before noting the picture cost $85,000 to license. “It was pictures we had all agreed on.”

Brown, who was married to Houston from 1992 to 2007 and shared daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown with her, isn’t the only one who took issue with the image that was first plastered on the cover of the National Inquirer in 2006.
Houston’s cousin Damon Elliott said he was “disgusted” by the photo.
“He doesn’t realize what he’s doing to the babies – to the family – that’s the only reason I got really upset,” he told Bossip on Saturday.
However, the vocalist’s nephew, Gary Michael Houston, said he was “of a different mindset when it comes to situations like this.”
“They are artists and in this day and age, if they can afford to pay someone for usage of that photograph in order to convey a visual message to accompany their musicianship…then so be it,” Houston told Good Morning America.
Meanwhile, many fans are joking about – and slamming — Brown’s response to West.
“Bobby Brown whuppin Kanye azz is a choice.”
“I truly believe Bobby Brown would slap the s— outta Kanye….on sight.”
“Bobby Brown’s gonna new jack swing upside Kanye’s head.”
“Maybe somebody needs to slap Bobby Brown himself for taking Whitney down to such lifestyle in the first place.”
“Bobby Brown can’t get upset at Kanye for the picture. He need to be upset over [who] took the picture to begin with or better yet who sold him the picture to him… I’m not saying what Kanye did was right but it’s business 🤷🏽♀️”
